How to attack Evony NPCs using only warriors.

The advantage of using warriors alone is, of course, that any casualties are quickly and cheaply recuperated. 10 barracks can churn out 6000 warriors an hour.

NPC City Level 1

When starting a new game you won't have any ballistas. Pikeman, swordsman and archers are expensive and getting gold (needed for researching) is mission impossible. Attacking other people is ok for getting some of resources, but gold is usually hard to find.

NPCs are a fast way to get some cash early in the game, so the first one you should be able to hunt for is NPC lvl1.

To start attacking you don't need big numbers, but that kind of attack won't give you exactly what you expect. First successful attack can be made with ~3k warriors army, but it can be just for getting some gold if you are desperate and need it badly. Here is example 4k warrior attack with hero attack lvl 67:

You may notice, that you don't get everything from a city. This is not strange if you compare the amount

of resources in said NPC and the maximum load of your small army of warriors. These attacks will result in a small gain in

Food, Gold and a small amount of prestige while having a small loss in lumber and iron. 

If you check the defenses and resources of an NPC lvl1, you might notice that you will lose warriors mainly

because of traps. Your loses will stay between 500 and 700 no matter how many warriors you send, so

increasing the number of warriors is useful up to the moment you get all resources from NPC. As you increase

logistic technology, the number of warriors you need to get all resource will decrease, so you'll need to send

less to get all.

Here is example of 9.3k warriors attack with hero attack lvl 67.

If you lose 600 warriors in an attack, you need 48k food, 60k lumber and 30k iron to build them back (and

some time which is usually less that attack time). A full lvl1 NPC have 100k food, 20k lumber, 20k stone, 20k

iron and 55k gold. Overall result based on losing 600 warriors and getting all from NPC is:

• Food: +52k
• Lumber: -40k
• Stone: +20k
• Iron: -10k
• Gold: +55k

If you check your market, you may get enough gold to cover loses and earn some!!!

One more thing.

DON'T FORGET TO HEAL YOUR WOUNDED!

Another way to farm level one NPC cities is to send two waves of attacks at the NPC. To do this you will need a level two Rally point and two hero's. The first wave should consist of 1000-3000 workers immediatly followed by a wave of 900 warriors. The workers are only sent first because they are slower, but the warriors will get there first destroying the defences so that the workers can take the resources from the city without taking many casualties.

This is also a very nice and easy way to boost prestige at the same time.

NPC City Level 2

If you have read all theory of attacking a NPC lvl1, then lvl2 is not much different. Here is example of a 13k

warrior attack with hero attack lvl 67:

Overall result based on losing 1100 warriors and getting all from NPC is:

• Food: +112k
• Lumber: -80k
• Stone: +30k
• Iron: -15k
• Gold: +65k

Using the same two wave method as I did on the level one NPC city, on level 2 NPC cities I send 1400-1500 warriors and 2000-3000 workers, once again in two separate waves.
